Live Oak Renters Must Pay a $93 Deposit to Start City Water and Sewer Service

LIVE OAK, SUTTER COUNTY — November 2, 2026. The City of Live Oak in Sutter County says tenants applying for municipal water and sewer service must submit their rental agreement, identification and a $93 deposit.

Homeowners have different documentation

A homeowner starting service must provide valid identification and proof of home ownership. The city’s standard application form is available on the Finance Department’s online service page; people can email, fax or deliver it to City Hall.

The City of Live Oak customer service office is at 9955 Live Oak Boulevard. The city lists 530-695-2112 for account questions, and recommends confirming identity and the start date before a move.
